The Platform of Landscape & Cititzens

• Inform the public of the European Landscape Convention,which positive content and look upon the cittizen perspective from a Human Rights Perspective, ought to be discussed in a much broader way in Sweden - here is thus also an intercultural ambition of the network

• By following various reports since 2004 test various concepts used during the ratificationc process in Sweden ( by various written observations and statements adressed to the concerned Authorities) - thus we intend to help the final ratification to be  as coherent and in a good sense "European" as possible

• Point to the role of the picturesque side of "landscape as perceved by people" of the Convention and its reference texts. We have in Sweden a very strong Child's Convention of the UN, and should, likewise, be able to stress the Landscape of the European Landscape Convention as basic for creation those sustainable and beatiful "life environments", that are so essential if children and grown-ups together are to profite from this common heritage

• Stress landscape as a question of landscape culture, and, thus, - through separate Projects - also stress "rural heritage" as a method of creating wider collaborations in Sweden and between Sweden and Europe
